Kicking off the winter season, HOVERAir is releasing a firmware update that enhances the Ski Mode on the PROMAX and is partnering with the legendary Freeride World Tour (FWT). The X1 PROMAX enables effortless aerial filming of off-piste terrain, letting riders focus on their runs while capturing professional-quality footage. The HOVERAir X1 PROMAX is a smart self-flying camera, offering the perfect device for every winter adventure. Unfold it, press one button and let it follow you through the snow. Whether you are skiing in fresh powder, snowboarding in the park, or enjoying cross-country skiing, ice-skating or ski touring, HOVERAir captures every moment with stunning clarity. The latest firmware update adds even more creativity to your shots with new flight modes like Spiral Mode and Dolly Zoom. The HOVERAir X1 PRO and PROMAX feature a dedicated Ski Mode optimized for snowsport movements like quick descents and carving turns as well as custom camera settings. Smart Ascend has the device automatically avoid other people for additional safety and further firmware updates are slated throughout the season. Top athletes, including 13x X Games medalist, Marcus Kleveland and Austrian freeride skier, Fabio Studer, rely on HOVERAir to capture dynamic moments on the go. “I am often out in the park or off-piste without a filmer,” says Fabio Studer, former FWT competitor. “With HOVERAir, I am able to capture additional aerial footage on my own, without needing a drone pilot or camera crew.”
