Here's an introduction to the accessories that you can pair with your HOVERAir X1 &PROMAX.

Smart Battery

One smart battery delivers up to 16 minutes of flight time or up to 32 automatic flight mode videos.

Capacity of 1920mAh

Standard Voltage of 7.38V

How can I charge the battery?

You can charge battery by Charging Hub, power case or battery while inside HOVERAir X1 PRO or PROMAX. We recommend using the official HOVERAir 65W Power Adapter and cables for the optimal charging experience. Use the Charging Hub and 65 W Power Adapter to fully charge one battery in 45 minutes, or two batteries in 60 minutes.

What upgrades have we made to the battery?

  • Energy Density Enhancement

The X1 PRO and PROMAX batteries have significantly increased energy density, nearly doubling the capacity of the X1 battery without a substantial increase in weight or size.

  • Battery Health Management

The X1 PRO and PROMAX batteries feature an intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) that continuously monitors the internal charge status, optimizes battery health, and improves lifespan.

  • Self-Discharge Management

The self-discharge feature helps with maintaining battery health. And the self-discharge feature of the X1 PRO and PROMAX batteries works as follows: after entering sleep mode, the battery performs periodic checks. After 3 days, it evaluates the battery level; if it exceeds 96%, it will discharge to 96%. After 7 days, it checks if the battery level is above 60%; if so, it will discharge to 60%.

Thermo Smart Battey

In addition to the X1 PRO and PROMAX smart batteries, the Thermo Smart Battery allows you to fly in low temperatures that can compromise battery performance(ever had a phone die on you in the cold ?!). Thermo Smart Battery functions down to -4°F(-20ºC) and up to 113°F(45ºC)and includes all smart battery functions like preventing over-charging and over-discharging。

PowerCase

The PowerCase (12,000 mAh) delivers up to two and a half full charges, providing an additional 40 minutes of flight time, allowing you to charge anywhere, anytime.

How to charge with PowerCase?

Open the case, use the Adapter Removal Tool to remove the Charging Adapter, attach it to the X1 PRO or PROMAX, and slide it into the PowerCase to start charging. HOVER will automatically enter sleep mode after 60 seconds of inactivity. Once charging is complete, simply take it out, short-press the power button to wake up the device, and you're ready to fly again instantly.

Watch the video below to learn how to charge the battery with PowerCase?

(For example, skiing from the top to the bottom of a mountain typically takes 5-7 minutes, and during the ride back up, the PRO and PROMAX will be fully charged, supporting nearly an entire day of shooting during skiing.) PowerCase can also serve as a power bank, allowing you to charge your phone anytime.

*Charging time may vary depending on the ambient temperature.

PowerCase Usage Recommendations

The charging case performs best in environments below 20°C(68°F). It is not recommended to use the charging case in temperatures exceeding 30°C(86°F), as charging speed may be slower. We recommend using the official adapter and data cable for optimal performance. Additionally, when flying in temperatures below 0°C (32°F), we recommend using the Thermo Smart Battery to enable PowerCase charging.

Charging Hub

Once you place the batteries into the Charging Hub, short pressing the button will let you know the current battery level and charging progress. By using the Charging Hub, the charge time for 2 batteries will shorten from 110 mins to 60 mins.

What upgrades have we made to the Charging Hub?

We’ve improved the charging efficiency of the X1 PRO & X1 PROMAX Charging Hub, allowing it to charge two batteries simultaneously (previously, the X1 hub could only charge one battery fully before moving to the next).

Charging with the Charging Hub is faster than charging directly from your X1 PRO/PROMAX. The X1 PRO/PROMAX Charging Hub can fully charge two batteries in 60 minutes.

Note: The charging time depends on the power adapter you use. For fast charging, we recommend using the HOVERAir 65W Power Adapter.

FAQ

Does the Hover return to you when the battery gets low?

HOVEAir X1 PRO &PROMAX will provide a 'low battery' warning both via App or Beacon (if connected), please exchange the battery when you get this message. Also, if you keep flying the Hover with the same battery, it will stop and auto land directly at its current located spot under 'extremely low battery' condition.

What's the difference between Smart Battery & Thermo Battery?

Both the Thermo Smart Battery and Smart Battery feature a 1920mAh capacity and provide up to 16 minutes of flight time. The Thermo Smart Battery offers the added benefit of enabling flights in temperatures as low as -4°F (-20°C) and features a Thermo logo on the top.

What's the difference between X1 PRO & PROMAX Smart Battery?

The Smart Batteries for the X1 PRO and PROMAX have only slight differences in appearance, with the logos being the only distinction. Otherwise, they are identical and can be used interchangeably.
