It’s a lightweight, portable, and user-friendly self-flying camera that redefines what a drone can be. Weighing only 125 g, it requires no registration or certification and can take off from your palm in just three seconds. Its foldable design makes it easy to slip into a pocket or handbag for spontaneous, on-the-go shooting. The X1 features a variety of intelligent flight paths, such as Hover, Follow, Orbit, Zoom Out, and Bird's Eye, allowing effortless cinematic shots at a tap. And with its fully enclosed frame, you can enjoy completely worry-free flying wherever life takes you.

3. What kind of environment is HOVERAir X1 suitable for?
The HOVERAir X1 is equipped with the VIO positioning system, which is recommended for use in the following environments:
* Flying height between 0.5m and 10m.
* Ground surface made of diffuse reflection material with a distinguishable texture and reflectivity greater than 20%.
* Sufficient lighting conditions (greater than 15 lux,equivalent to a normal indoor fluorescent lighting environment).
* Please note that the HOVERAir X1 is not waterproof and should not be used in rainy conditions. It is also not recommended to use it in strong wind environments.
4. Can I fly over water?
No. X1 is not designed to fly over water, cliffs, or terrain with indistinct ground textures, including when paired with the Beacon.
5. What is the positioning system used by HOVERAir X1?
HOVERAir X1 features advanced VIO (Visual Inertial Odometry) technology and a ToF laser altitude determination system. This provides accurate control with centimeter-level precision and enables a seamless transition from indoor to outdoor flying.Compared with GPS, the VIO positioning system allows HOVERAir X1 to return to the original starting point with no need for a compass calibration. It is ideal for beginners to enjoy worry-free flying.
6. Is the HOVERAir X1 wind-resistant?
Yes, the HOVERAir X1 can resist winds up to level 4 (7.9m/s). However, for optimal performance, it is recommended to use the aerial camera in windless or lightly breezy environments.
7. What kind of image stabilization technology is used in the HOVERAir X1?
The HOVERAir X1 utilizes a triple image stabilization system which includes mechanical stabilization (pitch axis) and electronic image stabilization (EIS) for hybrid anti-shake technology.
8. Can the gimbal of HOVERAir X1 be adjusted?
Yes, the gimbal of HOVERAir X1 can be adjusted within a range of -90 to 15 degrees.
9. How can I charge my HOVERAir X1?

10. What happens when the battery is low without return to home (RTH)?
The Beacon will display “Low battery, initiating forced landing”, with voice announcement and vibration alert.
11. What if I exceed height or distance limits?
The Beacon will warn you that limits are reached; the drone will hover and refuse further forward motion.
12. What features of Beacon are currently compatible with the HOVERAir X1?
The following features are currently supported on the HOVERAir X1:

Please note:
The HoverLink feature and Return to Home function are not supported on the HOVERAir X1.
When using two-handed control mode, live preview is not available on your phone screen.
The maximum flight altitude and distance are significantly lower than those of the HOVERAir X1 PROMAX.

13. What’s the maximum flight range when connected to the Beacon?
Maximum transmission range is approximately 50 m, with a maximum altitude of 10 m. As there is no return-to-home (RTH) function, we recommend flying within visual range. For extended flight distance and advanced control features, consider exploring the HOVERAir X1 PRO / PROMAX.
（*The maximum distance is measured in vast, open areas with minimal RF interference, such as mountains or coastal regions. Actual range may vary based on the environment and smartphone model.）
14. Can I adjust gimbal pitch with Beacon?
Yes.
15. What if my new HOVERAir X1 battery doesn't charge directly from the device?
Some HOVERAir X1 batteries may enter over-discharge protection and cannot be activated or charged directly through the device. For first-time use, we recommend charging all batteries fully at least once using the Charging Hub. Each battery will take about 35 minutes to fully charge via Charging Hub.Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact HOVERAir support team at support@hoverair.com.
16. What is the warranty?

We apologize, but according to our policy, we do not provide refund or exchange services for products damaged due to water landing of an aircraft. Water landings of aircraft can cause unpredictable damage to the product. Therefore, we recommend avoiding carrying our products in such situations. We suggest reading the product's user guide thoroughly before making a purchase and following the provided usage recommendations to ensure the product's safety and reliability.
