HOVERAir brought the spirit of winter sports to Milan
From snow-covered peaks to the heart of Milan: HOVERAir brought the energy, emotion, and innovation of winter sports to the city as an Official Partner of The Luxury Icons—a cultural highlight of the Milano Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympiad celebrating luxury, lifestyle, and design.
Over the opening days, large numbers of visitors, media representatives, and distinguished guests gathered on Via Montenapoleone to experience the initiative firsthand. In Milan, sport, fashion, and craftsmanship came together through shared values of culture, respect, and excellence. Marking this dialogue between disciplines, The Luxury Icons officially opened with a ceremonial ribbon cutting attended by Italian political representatives and prominent guests, alongside Ken Huang, CMO of HOVERAir, who had the honor of participating in the celebration.
The initiative traces a journey that begins in Shanghai and arrives in the capital of Lombardy, framing luxury as a connection between people. Promoted by the Italy China Fashion & Creative Council in collaboration with the MonteNapoleone District, and in partnership with HOVERAir, the project unfolded as an open urban experience in the heart of the Quadrilatero della Moda. It also reinforced the ten-year twinning between Via Montenapoleone and Shanghai’s Nanjing Road through two distinctive installations.
During February 14 to 15, guests explored the full HOVERAir X1 lineup and witnessed the debut of the HOVERAir AQUA—the world’s first self-flying camera designed specifically for water—through live demonstrations. A dedicated VIP and media lounge created space to connect, experience the technology up close, and discover how HOVERAir is shaping the future of content creation.
