What is Smart Ascend?
In Cycling mode, when Smart Ascend is turned on, the camera automatically rises to 2.5 meters if someone gets too close to you while cycling. This helps avoid collisions and keeps you tightly locked in the frame (Please note that Smart Ascend only activates when people are detected. Non-human objects will not trigger this feature).

Why do you need Smart Ascend?
When cycling through crowded streets or riding in a group, unexpected collisions can happen. Smart Ascend helps you stay worry-free, as the camera automatically rises to avoid obstacles while keeping you perfectly in frame.
When will Smart Ascend exit and the camera return to its original height?
Smart Ascend will automatically deactivate if no people are detected near you for 1 minute, and the camera will descend to its preset height. The feature also deactivates when you stop flying the camera.
How can you use Smart Ascend?
- Before you start
Make sure your HOVERAir PRO/PROMAX is updated to firmware 7.11.8 and your Beacon to 2.3.8 .
- Enable Smart Ascend
- Pair your camera with your phone using the Hover X1 app.
- Switch the shooting mode to Cycling Mode.
- To enable Smart Ascend:
