New Features Roundup: Spiral Mode, Side Track Auto Correction & More

One of our favorite things at HOVERAir is hearing what more our users want from our products and being able to deliver the features you've asked for! Our mission has always been to help you unlock more creative possibilities and elevate flying experience. With this latest firmware update, we’re taking it a step further. From the all-new Spiral automated flight mode to the crowd-favorite CoPilot now available in more scenarios, every feature is designed to help you achieve pro-level creative shots effortlessly.

Orbit and 360° Spin are great for wraparound shots, but we wanted to add an even more dynamic flight path to connect the subject with their surroundings. So we created Spiral on top of the 10+ automated flight trajectories already available on HOVERAir PRO and PROMAX. In this mode, your HOVERAir ascends while circling you twice, then descends with two more rotations, capturing a flowing, cinematic sequence that starts close, rises to reveal the scene, and sweeps back down. Perfect for dramatic openings or closings, it gives you a true “main character” moment.  

Previously available in other Follow modes, Auto Correction now works seamlessly in Side Track too. We noticed that when users perform large drifting movements, they often want the camera to hold its original relative position tightly. With Auto Correction enabled, your HOVERAir actively works to stay aligned to your side, maintaining a stable and reliable perspective even during sharp turns or intense moves. The result? Consistently smooth, cinematic tracking shots that keep you perfectly framed.

HoverLink has been great for users who want their HOVERAir to stay tightly locked on themselves even during large movements by combining Beacon signals with visual tracking for maximum reliability. But we also heard from users who wanted to decouple Beacon tracking from visual tracking. Now with the new HoverLink toggle, you can let one person hold the Beacon to preview shots and adjust CoPilot directions, while the camera focuses on tracking someone else. Imagine playing outdoors with your kids: you can hold the Beacon, framing and steering with ease, while the camera follows your child to capture every precious moment.
